March Wrap-Up

We have had a very busy month and it's gone by so fast! I finally got all the pictures out of the camera from this month and posted on his website. He still loves his bed and we haven't had any trouble getting him to go to sleep. He's only fallen out 3 times, twice in one night and then only one other time. It didn't upset him much and the one time after I heard the thump I went in his room and he was alseep on the floor.

G & G T came up and watched Bud while B & I went out with friends this past Friday. We found out some friends of ours are 14 weeks pregnant, due in September! Plus, some other friends are expecting twins in August(this we knew about) - all of our kids are going to be around the same age! Anyway, my parents took Bud to McDonalds for dinner and he was so excited because he got to eat inside; we always just go through the drive-thru and take it home, so that was a real treat for him! This weekend we visited B's parents and Kara was on spring break so she came home, too. We had a wedding shower for Zach & Nicole and it was a very busy weekend.

Last weekend I bought some fall clothes for the baby at a consignment store, including some little pink & white shoes. Bud loved looking at the new clothes for his baby sister and was dragging them all over. I noticed the shoes had disappeared and went looking for them after dinner and found them with the rest of our shoes on the shoe rug by the back door! It was so adorable, Bud put his sister's shoes next to all of our's. (There's a picture on his site.)

Bud has been a jigsaw puzzle fanatic lately. He's had a 24 piece Elmo puzzle since Christmas and does pretty well with it. We decided to get him another one last Monday and he picked out a Pooh puzzle. The first week having the puzzle he did it at least 4 times each night, getting better every time. Last night he did it all by himself for the first time! Before that we would give him hints as to where to put the pieces, but he has it down now. We'll have to see if the library has any 24 piece puzzles we can check out to keep challenging him.

We're looking forward to some warmer weather so Bud can play at the park more often. We were able to go one Saturday morning this month and he's played outside a few days. The only thing I'm worried about in April is the time change! It will be nice having more light in the evenings but it's going to be rough getting Bud up in the morning. I guess we'll just have to put him to bed by 8:00 (right now he goes to sleep at 8:30), which will feel like 9 to him at first. That actually may not be too bad, then B and I will have more time to ourselves! At least until the baby comes. I'll write again next week and let you know how it goes!
