Bud did really well when the time changed and it's actually easier to get him up in the morning than before. If we get him to bed by 8:00 he wakes up on his own around 7 a.m. but if he stays up until 8:30 I have to wake him up at 7:15.
Some of his recent accomplishments are being able to hold up one, two, three, or five fingers and correctly identify the number. He's very good at hopping and over the weekend he went up the stairs at G & G T's without holding on to anything. He stills does the steps one at a time but I can tell he's getting taller and has better balance. Daddy taught him how to draw the sun and he does an excellent job. This morning Louise showed me a drawing of a bird that he did and it really looked like a bird with the body, head and legs! I think he got Daddy's talent for drawing :-)
We had a really fun Easter at G & G T's house with Aunt Jess, Uncle Andy, Aunt Becky, & Uncle Joe. Bud and I colored eggs and him & Grandma made jell-o eggs. Bud ran around most of the day with a Star Wars pillow case as a cape and had an Easter egg hunt. He really enjoyed that and even re-hid the eggs himself so he could find them again. Grandma & Grandpa gave him a Play Doh zoo set, a few puzzles and a Nemo hat. The zoo set is plastic legs, eyes, tails of an elephant, giraffe, and flamingo that Bud can put into a ball of play doh to make an animal. He loves it and has played with the stuff every evening this week instead of watching Clifford, his usually before dinner ritual. The Easter bunny brought him play food for his kitchen to our house plus play doh bug parts like the zoo set. He was so excited to get the food and started cooking right away and had picnics a few mornings this week. And of course we've all been enjoying jelly beans and chocolate bunny. :o)

...just a couple of our kids' favorite foods. They have eaten cherry tomatoes for breakfast and always snack on cheese sticks. I want to remember things like this, so will continue the blog that was once titled, "Bud and Baby's Adventures." We'll now call them Luke and Audrey. :)
