The kids have been really busy these past few months! Baby is now 10 months old and around 8 mths she started crawling and pulling herself up to stand. She's also cruising around the furniture more and has 4 teeth! The top two just cut through this past week. Unfortunately this morning she discovered how to grind them. She says hi, all done, and ba (for bye). We think she called her cup "ba ba" once, too. She's been sleeping fairly well lately, going to bed at 8:00 and waking up at 5:15 for a bottle then goes back to sleep until 7:00. She had her first ear infection at the end of February then her teeth were bothering her; so now that all of that is behind her hopefully she'll sleep great. Her newest acheivements are pointing and eating table food. The girl LOVES regular food - enough with the baby food in jars, bring on the good stuff! It's a good thing because at her 9 month appointment we found out she dropped on her growth curve and the doctor said we need to get her to eat more solids. She goes non-stop and was burning more calories than she was taking in. Another new thing she just started last week is talking on the phone. She'll put a play phone or the remote control up to the side of her face and say, Eh? then babble on. It's hilarious.

Bud is doing really well, too. He's made great strides in the potty training area, starting to tell us almost every time he needs to go. He's learning to ride his big wheel but needs to build up some leg muscles! His big wheel has a tall handle on the back so we are able to push him while he learns to pedal. He spent two weeks in March on vacation with his grandparents; one week with each set. He had a great time getting all of their attention! We're looking forward to more warm weather so we can play outside. Bud likes to collect things (bugs, rocks, acorns, etc.) and pretends to plant flowers. Him and I played catch with a football last weekend and about every 5th throw was a spiral! I couldn't believe it. And we kicked a ball around which he did really well, too. He also likes shooting hoops with Dad; now all we need to do is get a t-ball set and see how he does with baseball!

We can't believe Baby will be a year old in just 2 months. We've started planning the big shindig already. We're also going to be making some home improvements in the next few months because we think we'll be selling in a year. We're looking to move into a different neighborhood near an elementary school so Bud is ready for kindergarten in the fall of '08. It's hard to believe he can start kindergarten in a year and a half! It takes a lot of planning to sell and buy a house, so we're starting now.

I will try to post another update more often than every 3 months! A lot happens in that amount of time and this update is just a small summary. Happy April!
