Moody Blues

On Tuesday B and I had the day off so we looked at a few daycares for the baby. We decided on one so thankfully that is taken care of. We also took Bud to his first movie at the theater - Curious George. He loved it! It was nice, there were only two other families in the theater so we weren't worried about Bud talking or not being able to see. When we got in the theater he said, "What's this place?" He was also curious about the projector room, asking a few times what was back there. He really enjoyed the movie and we had fun watching him enjoy it.

The past two nights he has been really cuddly and clingy with me, which is nice except last night he was really moody and burst into tears every 5 minutes. Getting him to tell us what was wrong was extremely difficult through his sobs but he was telling me his ear hurt, that he had bumped it. We're not sure if he really did bump it or if he just made that up. By 8:00 he was ready for bed (usually doesn't go to bed until 8:30), but then a little after 9 he was crying out for me. He only wanted me to console him which I did till 10:00. I could tell he just wanted to go to sleep because one mintue he'd want to cuddle then the next he was pushing me away. So finally I decided he was just going to have to cry it out and figure out how to fall asleep. He woke up crying again at midnight and B gave him some Tylenol, but I think (I was a little sleepy) that I went in and got him to calm down and then he slept until 8:00. I let him sleep in, he usually gets up at 7:15. We're not sure if he's just not feeling well (he's had a runny nose and cough for a week), or if the bed change has been a little much for him. He hasn't had problems falling asleep (besides last night) and he hasn't fallen out. We hope tonight goes a little smoother and he's in a good mood! Louise said he ate lunch and was napping, so that's a good sign. But she also said he's been teary today and very sensitive.

I still need to post pictures from this past weekend and Bud in his new bed - hopefully soon!

K :o)
