3rd Birthday!!

Bud turned 3 last Friday and we had a party on Saturday. Some of his friends from school came and it was so cute seeing him show them around the house. He's such a little boy now and not a baby! He got a lot of books, bug-related stuff, camping stuff, and some board games. My parents gave him a digital camera and he had fun taking pictures of everyone at the party. I've yet to get them loaded into the computer but we're anxious to see how they turn out. Toward the end of the party Bud had some matter collecting in one eye and he had a runny nose. Sunday midday he had a fever and both eyes were really goopy. B stayed home with him today and got him to the doctor; they found out he has pink eye. :-( We hope no one else comes down with it! Thank you to everyone who came and made it a special day for Bud!

Baby was a really good girl Saturday having all of the people around. She loves watching people! She discovered she can make a new sound - screeching. It's just lovely. She does it when she's happy or not so happy. She sits up pretty well with support and is starting to purposely grab at things. Sometimes she can get her pacifier back in if she can feel it near her mouth and last night when I was giving her a bath I held the washcloth in front of her face and she grabbed it and pulled it into her mouth.
