The other big milestone is we had Luke's first t-ball game! It was very amusing! The kids all did well but at the second game there was noticeable improvement in their hitting and fielding. Luke even hit a pitched ball in the second game! In t-ball the coach pitches three balls and if they don't hit one then they put the "t" up. There are no outs, everyone bats and everyone gets to home plate. It's really fun because it isn't competitive, except a few of the boys want to field EVERY ball that is hit, so the coach is working on getting them to take turns and only go for the ball if it is near them.

On Monday I went with Luke's class to a dairy farm and we had a lot of fun! Our favorite part was learning about how the farmer milks the cows. It was really interesting learning about how much they produce, how the farmer keeps track of each cow/calf, and we liked seeing the calves. Here are the kids in the milking room, the cows' behinds were facing them. You can see a few of the kids plugging their noses! They really thought it was gross when the cows peed or pooped. Luke went to a classmate's birthday party, which was a first. It was at the Iowa Gym Nest, another first for him, and he had a blast. He LOVED the foam pit and jumped in off a high platform. He also jumped down a long trampoline.

You can see we have been very busy this past week but things should be slowing down because the kids are finished with swim lessons, we'll just have t-ball games until the middle of June. Luke only has 17 days of school left and he's definitely ready to be done!
